Our client simply wanted to bring their well loved family home into the 21^st century by creating open plan living. This was achieved by adding a single storey rear extension onto the back of their home which allowed the majority of the existing ground floor walls to be opened up. Whilst the kitchen wall that separated the living room was left intact, the openness of the new dining area allowed it to flow through and connect with the new family/lounge area. The existing dining room was utilised as a new snug/media room.
